Dr. Garilli is a former US Marine turned Naturopathic Doctor. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Maryland and her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington.
When partnering with her clients, Dr. Garilli focuses on uncovering the root cause of a person’s illness and implementing foundational lifestyle medicine programs. In addition to lifestyle modifications, Dr. Garilli frequently uses botanical and homeopathic medicine, nutritional supplementation, and thyroid and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.
Dr. Garilli has been on staff at the University of California at Irvine as a Staff Doctor at the Susan Samueli Center for Integrative Medicine (SSCIM) and as volunteer clinical faculty at UCI medical center. She was the Director of Lifestyle Medicine at the Institute for Restorative Health in Davis, CA. She also consults with nutritional companies on case studies, professional consultations and educational program development and is a consultant to integrative medical centers for developing and implementing lifestyle medicine programs. Dr. Garilli is the co-creator of the Live Longer, Live Better Program for UC Irvine’s integrative medical center and is the creator of the Regenokine Lifestyle Medicine Program for LifeSpan Medicine in Santa Monica, CA.
An avid lecturer, Dr. Garilli is often invited to speak to local and community groups and participates in professional speaking engagements routinely She loves to teach and is on the faculty of Hawthorn University where she teaches various courses in the Master’s for holistic nutrition program. She also loves to write and frequently publishes in various health-care journals and publications.
Dr. Garilli is the current President and founding board member of the California Chapter of the Children's Heart Foundation. She lives in beautiful Northern California with her husband, their two (very) active children and four backyard chickens. She loves to read, cook, garden and preserve fresh produce to enjoy year around.
